JOY LEVEEN holds a B.A. in Social Science from Westmont College, and an M.A. in Urban Mission from Fuller Theological Seminary. She worked with the rest of the team first in the independent film The Cask of Amontillado, and worked backstage for every stage production at Is What Is Theatre in 2005 and 2006.  She is a graduate of Arcadia High School, where she was an actor and technician in the theatre department. Joy is the current President and a co-founder of CAV, and in charge of the venue's public seminars.

MICHAEL PECK is a former technical director at Is What It Is Theatre and Theater Works. His scenic designs have also been seen on several local stages. Michael is a Zoni-award winning actor for his role in Love Waits at The Space Theatre. He has appeared on stage with Stray Cat Theatre, Nearly Naked, Alternative Theatre Company, and more. Michael is currently the Technical Director at CAV, and a co-founder.

TOM LEVEEN was the Artistic Director and co-founder of Is What It Is Theatre, from 1995 to 2003, and again from 2005 to 2006. He has directed almost 35 plays over the past 18 years, and performed with local companies including Stray Cat Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre, and others. He has also directed three plays for Tempe Little Theatre, and won two directing awards and two best-play awards from the Scottsdale Tribune, as well as a nomination for the Governor's Arts Award. Tom is currently Artistic Director of CAV, and a co-founder.
