There's a place in South Scottsdale which is getting rave reviews from local papers and audiences. Where teenagers (and often parents) are enjoying live bands. Where local art hangs on the walls, spoken word poets train for national competition, a children's play entertains and teaches good decision-making, and where indie film is alive and well. That place is CHYRO ARTS VENUE.

Chyro is a non-profit, 501c3 arts venue hosting all these events, and more. And while the entire staff, sometimes working 40-hour weeks in addition to regular jobs, is 100% volunteer, keeping our ticket prices low and accessible sometimes puts us in the red at the end of each month.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help offset operational costs such as rent, electricity, and insurance. That's only 100 people at $100 each.
